Program Description:

Millions of people live in developing worlds where the
worldwide health gap between rich and poor is ever
widening. Hospitals in developing countries face huge
challenges to acquire and maintain life-saving medical
equipment.  In 2001, the Engineering World Health was
established to help hospitals overcome this challenge.

**Participants have repaired over 7,000 pieces of hospital
equipment worth an estimated $14.3 million.
